Well, apparently it's been prooven, that if you wait around long enough, good gossip is bound to smack you right in the face.

Take the latest incidents of our fair world.

It seems, our blonde-haired Baatonite Maya (former McBeth) has taken caring for one's old and feeble parents to a new level. Not only has said Papa been sharing the same body with Ms Maya, but now, it seems she resurrected her dead son, Jace, just to give the old coot a new lease on life. If that doesn't give you the heeby jeebies now, it gets BETTER! No one thought ahead of time the nasty side effect when you mix one dead grandpa and one dead toddler.. yeah, you get some screwed up cocktail of a kid, one who SUDDENLY happens to be a full fledged teenager.

I'd hate to be around that kid when puberty catches up with him!

The real kicker here is, that Maya's ex-husband, Jim, has been seen acting pretty chummy since their kid un-kicked the bucket. Now, does anyone but me feel it's kinda STRANGE that not a few days later, Jim's wife.. (yes WIFE) keels over in the desert?

Hmm.. uhmm, NOPE not strange at all!

Speaking of keeling over in the desert.. (nice lead in huh?) Yes, unfortunately, Jim's wife, the Madam Knight Lily-Anne St, James (phew) was found murdered in the Lokian desert, not too far from her shared estates. I personally got a good look at the body, and let me tell you, the amount of dead skin hanging off some of her limbs was enough to conjure the image of shredded lamb meat. Ew! I don't think that's natural.. and some speculation has led to the belief that she had to have been done in by someone with a strong necromantic back ground.

So, the big question, who would kill Lily-Anne?? (Who wouldn't!)

The number one suspect right now is, of course, her son-in-law Gens. Ever since their deal in Hernai, they've been on a tug-of-war with Lily's grandson in the middle. Gen's is obviously a very powerful Necromancer, but swordsman? It raises some questions about how far he was willing to go, murder his wife's own mother? Hmm.

The number two suspect, is naturale, her husband, Jim. Yes Yes, you might all say, why Jim? He loved her!! Well, apparently he's been smoozing up his ex-wife, and word has it (my personal source) that he was also seen in the company of Gen's himself. Ooh la la? Just helping getting back the kid, they say, but we're on to you Jim! Fess up! (We all love a show!)

The third suspect, is Lily's brother Charles. Some may not be familiar with this guy, but trust me, he's atypical jackass material. This guy could burn a hole through metal with his acerbic charm, and it's somewhat known of his hatred towards his sister. Guess he didn't like being second in line when it came to the family hierarchy, and what better time then to take what he think is his? Of course, it does ask the question, was he strong enough to pull off such a deed?

My opinion is no, but, I was thinking the other day, and noticed a look passing between Charles and Jim, right infront of Velvet mind you, and got to wondering.. did these people know each other? and if so, how well? Could they have conspired against Lily-Anne? Wow, if so, this woman does not have my symphathy.

There has been rumors also, of the big guy Cynric Jaeden having a grudge against the Madam Knight. This surprised me, but then, he is a pretty powerful necromancer, and strong enough to take this chic down in battle. Could there have been a confrontation? Hmm.. the possisbilities. Of course, with Lily's close ties to the Baaton, that might spell out some bad blood, for alot of members.

so, the list grows, but the answers don't. Who really killed off this apparently formidable woman? And why?

Does any of this have anything to do with the odor belching clouds now looming over L'Ombre? I think I saw a few tails curling in the mass, but it could have been me hallucinating from inhaling so much of that stink gas.
You know, when you start preferring the smell of a chamber pot to the smell of fresh air, there seems to be a big problem.. Exactly what? I just wish I knew!
